Back to our USA 🇺🇸 Trip in 2017 and our segment in the Golden City of San Francisco. Our hotel was near the Union Square. Our favourite part of the city is down by the Fisherman’s Wharf and the Golden Gate Bridge 🌉 and if we ever go back that’s the area we would like to stay. One of the real highlights was renting bikes which is a very popular thing to do and cycle along over the famous bridge (stunning views) and then downhill to the right to the sunny town of Sausalito.

A stunning town where the rich and famous all have houses. Sharon Osbourne filmed her judges houses on X-Factor here. Down by the seafront is a gorgeous selection of boutiques and restaurants and this one was seriously impressive. Barrel House Tavern have a gorgeous balcony that goes over the water so we waited maybe an hour until we could be seated here and it was worth the wait. We had lovely Parma violet cocktails and Sauvignon with gorgeous Grilled New York Steak 🥩 with roasted fingerling potatoes, spinach, roasted mushrooms and a red wine glaze. Cooked to perfection!

We were very merry on the last ferry ⛴ back to San Fran 🥴 The ferry takes you past Alcatraz on the way back. Other things to do in San Fran: Mrs Doubtfires House, Castro District for the Harvey Milk movement 🌈, Yosemite National Park 🏞 (full day excursion trip) - most beautiful place we have ever been! @barrelhousetavern
